Subotnju večer obilježila je tužna vijest iz Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva. Preminuo je Murray Walker, legendarni britanski komentator F1 utrka.
Graeme Murray Walker rođen je 10. listopada 1923. godine u Birminghamu. Veteran je 2. Svjetskog rata, bio je istaknuti motociklist, a njegova karijera komentatora utrka započela je 1948. godine.
Taj komentatorski segment njegove karijere ostat će naviše upamćen po prijenosima utrka Formule 1, a postao je komentator BBC-a 1978. Karakterizirao ga je strastveni i uzbudljivi način komentiranja te je bio izuzetno voljen među fanovima sporta, ali i samim sportašima.

Neki od njegovih legendarnih komentara ostaju zabilježeni kao Murrayizmi, a posljednja F1 utrka koju je komentirao bila je Velika nagrada SAD-a 2001. godine.
Walker je preminuo 13. ožujka 2021. godine. Vrlo brzo uslijedile su vrlo dirljive oproštajne poruke.
